Naples is world famous for its beauties of various types and origins. Perhaps unique in the world, however, it makes people everywhere talk about itself on par with man's art objects and nature, even seemingly insignificant objects.

An object, very simple and anonymous, thanks to a great singer and his singing similar to telling poems, made famous something that was completely unknown until then. .
Marechiaro is a small hamlet located in the Posillipo district and from which one can admire the panoramic view of the entire city of Naples, Vesuvius, all the way to the Sorrento Peninsula and the island of Capri, which appears exactly in front of the typical small beach of the hamlet. a legend has it that the Neapolitan poet and writer Salvatore Di Giacomo, seeing in Marechiaro a small window with a carnation flower , had the inspiration for what is one of the most famous Neapolitan songs: Marechiare.

That window still exists, and there is always a fresh carnation flower  on the sill, as well as a white marble commemorative plaque with part of the song score and the name of its author (who died in April 1934) engraved on it.
The hand-stitched points  on the back of the gloves, 2 Decisive lines, created by experienced hands, recalling Neapolitan romanticism, creating a shape reminiscent of the Fenestella in Marechiaro .
